Peter Tempelhoff’s enduring food philosophy is one that centres on provenance – a philosophy than ensures that the concept never eclipses the importance of the ingredients. At beyond, special attention has been paid to sourcing a diverse range of special raw produce.

From rare-breed meats, and seasonal heirloom vegetables to artisanally crafted cheeses, this diversity serves to showcase and celebrate the ‘weird and wonderful’ and the beauty of unique strains and flavours beyond mass production.

Also a core consideration – central to this process – is that by sourcing locally, the restaurant underscores its commitment to supporting smaller growers, farmers and producers who form part of a sustainable supplier ecosystem.




Monday & Tuesday: Closed

Lunch – 12:00 to 14:30
Wednesday to Sunday

Dinner – 18:00 to 20:30
Wednesday to Saturday




Dining Room – inside seating limited to full views of the vineyards

Patio – partially covered outside seating with the courtyard view

Harvest Table – a long table seating up to 16 guests

Elevated Table – a long table with slightly raised seats seating up to 12 guests



A deposit of R400 per guest is required to secure your reservation. Please be aware that non-payment constitutes a cancellation of the provisional booking.

A 100% refund will be returned for any cancellation or modification made by the guest no later than 48 hours prior to your booking.

In the case of a late cancellation or no notification of modifications by the guest or a no show, the full deposit per cancelled or absent guest will be held. This is at the sole discretion of Management.
